As it happened: Dublin v Mayo, All-Ireland senior football final replay

The sides could not be separated the last day, what about this evening?

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s All-Ireland SFC final replay between Dublin and Mayo.

The Dubs are 70 minutes away from clinching their first All-Ireland double since 1977, while Mayo continue their quest to win a first title since 1951.

We’re 30 minutes away from throw-in and there are plenty of selection rumours flying around Croke Park.

Rob Hennelly looks like he’ll David Clarke in the Mayo goals, while there’s talk Paddy Andrews will replace Paul Flynn in the Dublin attack.

That goalkeeping change on the Mayo team is confirmed. Here’s how they’re set to line-up:

Mayo arrive out from the dressing room a minute early. No dust up this time.

It was reported this morning that Cillian O’Connor’s participation was in doubt due to injury, but he looks alright. He’s taking a full part in the Mayo warm-up.

Dublin have made three late changes to their team.

So that’s two former winners of Footballer of the Year dropped by Jim Gavin – Michael Darragh MacAuley and Bernard Brogan. Gavin shows his ruthlessness.

Tom Parsons hits an early wide for Mayo. There are concerns for Paul Flynn and Lee Keegan as they collided knees but both are okay to resume play.

James McCarthy hits Dublin’s first wide. We’re still scoreless as both teams defend tenaciously.

Perfect start by Dublin and Rock. His first from play doubles their advantage, before Kevin McManamon pops up with a third.

Rock fists over to stretch the lead to four. Mayo needed a score and Donal Vaughan obliges from outside the 45.

John Small is extremely fortunate to avoid a black card after a deliberate trip on Andy Moran.

Cillian O’Connor converts the free from distance, but Dublin got away light there.

Cillian O’Connor nails a tricky free. After a horrible start, Mayo are right back in this.

Excellent recovery by Mayo. Andy Moran dummies off the right and slots over with his left. We’re level.

Another Rock free edges Dublin back in front after Paddy Durcan tripped Paddy Andrews.

Rock brought his shooting boots today. His latest free extends the Dublin lead to two.

GOAL! Lee Keegan sends a stunning strike into the bottom corner of Stephen Cluxton’s net. Magnificent goal!

18 mins – Dublin 0-6 Mayo 1-4

Keegan timed his run to perfection after Aidan O’Shea created the opportunity by skinning Cian O’Sullivan. Wonderful finish by the wing-back.

BLACK CARD! Johnny Cooper has been dismissed for a trip on Donal Vaughan. That’s a massive blow to Dublin.

The teams are level for the second time. Another free from Rock.

Kevin McManamon has been the outstanding Dublin forward from play. He wins a free which Rock lands over. The Ballymun sharpshooter has been flawless on placed balls so far.

Brian Fenton picks up a yellow after getting involved in some afters with Colm Boyle. Cillian O’Connor levels up the game with another free. That’s his third free of the day.

Connolly drills over an inspirational score. Moments later Rob Hennelly gives away a poor kickout and Dublin win a close-range free.

Rock’s free is good. We’re into the first of four minutes stoppage time.

Cillian O’Connor converts a close-range free for Mayo. They trail by one.

There’s a dust-up in the centre of the field between a number of players from either team. John Small and Cillian O’Connor were involved, while things got heated between Diarmuid Connolly and Donal Vaughan too.

Connolly, Vaughan and Small all pick up yellows from Maurice Deegan.

Meanwhile Tom Parsons leaves the field with blood flowing from his head.

The teams were level on three occasions in the opening 35 minutes. We’ve seen two black cards issued and a number of flash points between players all around the field.

There’s plenty of criticism coming in for Maurice Deegan’s refereeing performance.

Stephen Coen, who replaced Keegan, is picking up Connolly now.

Rock curls over a nice free.

PENALTY! Rob Hennelly has gifted Dublin a penalty after he made a mess of a high ball into the area. Hennelly took down Paddy Andrews and is black carded! David Clarke replaces him.

GOAL! Connolly dispatches it right into the bottom corner!

That was a sensational penalty from Connolly.

O’Connor reduces the gap to two with his sixth free.

Kevin McManamon had a penalty shout after he went down in the Mayo area but the referee waved it away. Michael Darragh MacAuley has come in for Paul Mannion.

Kevin McLoughlin jinks inside and splits the posts from a tight angle. It’s been 12 minutes since Dublin’s last score – Connolly’s penalty.

Bernard Brogan announces his arrival by drilling over the bar off his left. MDMA created that score with a driving run.

On the Mayo side Barry Moran replaces Andy Moran and he’s gone straight into the edge of the square. He’s being picked up by Michael Fitzsimmons.

Aidan O’Shea has also gone into the full-forward line.

McCarthy hits a wide off his left for Dublin. We’re into stoppage time as Mayo trail by the minimum.
