NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL Charlie Faumuina will join Toulouse for the 2017-18 Top 14 season.
Faumuina has made 46 Test appearances for the All Blacks and was part of the squad that successfully defended the Rugby World Cup in 2015. The prop will leave Super Rugby side Blues to join Toulouse ahead of next season.
Faumuina said in a statement: “Toulouse is a club that has an extremely rich history and record. I have only heard positive things about the club from those who had the chance to play here.
“I know that former All Blacks and other players from the southern hemisphere have also worn this jersey. Evolving in the red and black alongside players I’ve faced in the past is an attractive prospect.

“Playing in the same team as many internationals is a real honour. I appreciate the game Toulouse plays a lot and I am convinced it will fit me. I know the club is ambitious and wants to win title. The French championship is without doubt the best in Europe and I’m looking forward to taking part.”
Toulouse’s sporting director Fabien Pelous said: “We signed Charlie because he is the complete prop, a physical player who’s also mobile. He is a strong scrummager and will add a lot of experience to our front row. His qualities as a player suits the Top 14.”
