ALAN JUDGE WILL have done his Ireland chances no harm with a match-winning brace for Brentford against Rotherham in the Championship yesterday.
Judge’s two goals were enough to see his side earn a 2-1 victory and hand former Ireland international Lee Carsley his first win as Brentford boss, moving his side up to 19th in the table in the process.
The first goal in particular was impressive, with Judge volleying home from distance after just 67 seconds (see the video above from around the 0.28 mark).

Despite winning a number of caps at underage level, Judge has yet to play for the Ireland senior team, though he did make the revised squad for their recent Euro 2016 qualifiers with Germany and Poland.
And with performances such as the one on Saturday, it’s surely only a matter of time before Judge gets a chance to play for the Boys in Green.
