This Aimee Mackin strike might just be the goal of the weekend

Armagh lost against Kerry – but this was sensational.

KERRY BEAT ARMAGH in a smashing All-Ireland Ladies football quarter-final this evening, but there’s no question as to what was the moment of the match.

Aimee Mackin lit up Nowlan Park with this magnificent strike in the 18th minute.

Fielding a long ball as she ran away from the Kerry goal, Mackin clipped a perfect finish into the far corner without breaking stride.

“Aimee Mackin told a few of the senior lads last week she has the best left foot in Armagh,” Orchard footballer Gavin McParland tweeted. “She wasn’t wrong.”

“A masterclass from Aimee Mackin in the first half,” Cork’s Valerie Mulcahy added. “A beautiful left foot.”
