Adidas have just released a new version of their classic football boot

The Copa Mundial has been given a makeover.

THE ADIDAS COPA Mundial is a timeless classic.

First released in 1979, the leather boot matched comfort with durability and has been worn by some of the world’s top players including Diego Maradona, Franz Beckenbauer and Zinedine Zidane over the years.

Today, Adidas have launched a modernised revamp of the range.

The Copa SL is considerably lighter as the leather has been replaced by synthetic while the oversized tongue remains.

Unfortunately, a pair of the limited edition boots will set you back a whopping €240.
