AFTER FINISHING TOP scorer in the Scottish Premiership last season with 28 goals in all competitions, Dubliner Adam Rooney has continued to show his knack for finding the back of the net this term.

The Aberdeen striker, still uncapped at senior international level, gave the Dons a seventh-minute lead away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle tonight to bring his tally for the current campaign to 18.

They missed the chance to draw level with Celtic at the top of the table, however, as Caley claimed a 3-1 victory.
