THE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM of the year has been named, with three Irish internationals making the cut.
Ipswich’s freescoring striker Daryl Murphy makes the XI, as does Derby centre-back Richard Keogh and Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.
Somewhat oddly though, former Ireland U18 international, Patrick Bamford, fails to make the side, despite having recently been named Championship Player of the Year.
