Here's the 2016 Kerry senior football championship draw

There are four less teams than last year.

THE DRAW FOR this year’s Kerry senior football championship draw was made this afternoon with holders South Kerry to face Kerins O’Rahilly’s in the first round.

Bryan Sheehan and his team-mates will begin their championship defence on the weekend of 15 May with seven other ties down for decision.

The championship will be run in a new format in 2016 with the first round losers facing each other and the losing teams in those games exiting the competition.

12-time winners Austin Stacks face a trip to East Kerry first up while last year’s runners-up, Killarney Legion, will look to go one better this time around with their campaign beginning against Milltown/Castlemaine.
